During this presentation, we will dig deep into the benefits of time outside, learn about practices that bring us closer to the natural world, and discover ways to cultivate nature nearby. Discover how planting and caring for trees can improve your wellbeing and learn about specific ways you can get outside with Tacoma Tree Foundation. This presentation will provide an overview of some relevant research, share specific practices to try on your own, explore some of the ways children specifically benefit from time outside, and connect participants with opportunities and resources.
